Been there done that, Needs to be after the turbo. WB readings are affected by as much as a full point by the higher back pressure of pre-turbo. Narrows are not as affected and aren't uses in WOT any way. Any WB manufacturer is gonna tell you post turbo.

I have a LC1 post turbo (~ 16 in) and it seems to work fine. I had some problems with error codes at WOT when I first installed it. I added a heat sink and it has been fine since (3 1/2 yrs).

You have to put it after the turbo or the sensor will die very quickly from the heat and pressure (plus not read all that accurately). In the tail pipe as far from the turbo as you can get it, and still at least 6-8 inches from "air".
