Default Will 2 T3's intercooled work on a stock 4.8?

Got an oppurtunity to get a new T-3 turbo and some intercoolers for damn near nothing. Looking for a "boost" in the 1500-4000 rpm range for my stock 4.8.

Fab is not a prob to do underhood twin setup, friend that is a proffesional welder is getting a new TIG real soon and although I don't know squat really with the HPTuners I got it, the Pro Interface and I could take instructions well from someone who knew how to tune a setup like this. Not looking to make craploads of power, just give the old 4.8 a "boost" for daily driving and the occasional freeway kill, already GPS 129mph with almost everything stock, just a little timing changes etc... Will probably tow a boat occasionally too, so the midrange power increase would be ideal... If 2 T3's are gonna put it over 400hp no matter what I do, then question, will a single T3 work for what I want? Note I do not want to do an engine swap or change anything else in the motor, bone stock internals cam and all (do I have to change the cam?)

Thanks!

T3 is nothing more then an exhaust housing size designation. Really need to know the rest of the specs on it. Most likely though, a pair of them would work fine on a 4.8. You can run any turbo setup on a stock motor, as long as the tune is setup properly, and you have the fuel injectors to support it.

Like KB said, you need the full specs on the T3 compressor and you need to know how much power you want (or just how much boost) to figure out if: a) the compressor will support the power / boost goals, and b) flow enough air efficiently for the needs of the 4.8 at that power range.

Okay, I will post the specs on it when I get it, should come with a sheet. Will go from there. It's practically free so I aint gonna say no, even if it won't work I can swap someone or sell it or something to get what I need (which is just a little more power than stock maybe 20%-40% MAX and something fun to tune on, fun to drive, not looking to set horsepower records with it...)

I think the intercoolers may be small ones so I may be able to run an intercooler for each turbo.. Is that good idea or BAD idea?

If they're too small, then they might be more of a restriction than an improvement. They'd basically serve the function of pluging up your exhaust and blowing hot air if they're too small. They wouldn't necessarily give you a lower percentage power increase. Any old turbo is not better than no turbo.

Anyone have numbers and a way to figure out all this stuff? I mean like how much airflow a 4.8 would need at 400hp at near sea level (I am in TX)? And how to figure out how much a certain turbocharger will flow and how much exhaust flow is required to spin it up to boost speed etc? What about wastegates? I have to have them right? A boost controller too? If you know how much airflow a 4.8 needs at 400hp level how do you convert that to boost psi? Just from being around a few turbo cars and lots of diesel turbo stuff I would think a 4.8 with 6-8psi or so of boost should make 400hp on stock cam and heads? No? Just guessing. My friends Supra made 400+ at the rear wheels on stock turbos with just BPU and from the factory I think it was only rated at around 275hp or so, and it was 2.5 or 3.0 liter can't remember, but at 18lbs or so boost so I figure about half as much boost on a 4.8 liter should be about 400hp level. Is my simple logic flawed?

Just trying to take what I got and learn enough new things about turbos to make it work like I want it too... Thanks for any help.
