Ive towed 8,000 lbs. with my turbo @ 10 psi across town, no issues with that either.
You towed 8k across town @ 10psi? So I should be ok pulling 10K with 5psi cross country. Same load got my old 8.1 down to 35mph up vail pass.

I wouldn't tow anything @ 10psi at sea leavel. I would run 5psi max, keep RPM between 2800-4000RPM. Low RPM lugging is harder on the engine than moderate high RPM.

Another option I will throw out there. Sell me the 70 and use the money to pay down the LBZ.

I actually sold the engine last year to a friend, but I still haven't pulled it out yet. I have to install it in his 68 camaro when he gets the car finished. So as of now all it is is a truck with no engine, and a broken rear end. With the new engine, and strange dana 60 rear end it should be clicking off mid to high 10 sec passes. NA, on pump gas. I just need $$$ to finish it. That turbo 03 I just built put me in the poor house. By eliminating the Dmax payment I would be able to finish alot of things. I only owe 19K on the Dmax, so if I could get around 33-34K(truck only has 12,000 miles) I could get a 01-02 6.0 REg cab, and the maggy. It would be no Dmax for sure, but should get me by.

well you gotta remeber I wasn't actually running 10 psi the whole time, just a few blasts taking off from a stop light or going to pass somone. Probably stayed under 7 psi most of the time.

I tow ~5K for approximately 650 miles round trip, 4-5x in the summer, through the desert where it's about 110-120*, and up long steep grades and my Radix has never missed a beat. I think the Radix MagnaCharger is your best option if you getting rid of the Diesel.

I can hit 6-7 psi with the 3.3 pulley, but i try to keep boost under 5psi. I'll drop it down into 3rd with Tow/haul if i'm climbing a really steep hill and i'm hitting high boost
