OK I bought some Bars Leak block seal, similar to kw block seal. ran it with pure water like the instructions say let sit overnight empty and this morning I pulled the oil plug and got nothing but oil out
Flushed her again and filled her up with the orange stuff and now it is time cruise again
Woooohooooo! Problem solved. So the traditional meathod of sealing copper gaskets works still....go figure. I DO NOT recommend using copper coat spray. I used 4 very heavy coats of it on each side of the gasket and it wasn't enough.

So far so good. Needs some tuning but i'm having issues with getting my HPT to interface with my wideband (LC1). It shows 11.52 afr on HPT at all times. I have never gotten it to work correctly.
I'm able to keep the boost down to around 7psi so that is good.

Might want to ask around in the PCM section either here or on Tech about the wideband issue.

Good deal on getting the heads sealed up.

Yeah, I actually sent my LC1 back 6 months ago and they gave me a new one over the same issue. I haven't had the time to investigate it further. Too many other issues. It certainly makes tuning hard with one laptop watching wideband and the other HPT scanner. I'm going to get the wideband deals worked out before I continue with the tunning. What a PITA!

Good work on the heads.

I asked about the gaskets, because my bike uses solid copper head gaskets and when I had the 250 top end on there it took about three re-tourqings to get the gaskets to clamp.

Truck just completed a 650mile road trip It didn't like to cruise in 6th gear too well and got the same mileage in 5th as I did in 6th in the 15-16mpg range. That is driving 85-95 most of the way. I swaped in the 4.30's today so the mileage should increase from that since it won't be laboring and getting into boost on hills as much in 6th. Besides it was 10-10.5 afr when it went into boost. i've been working on the tune today and have made a lot of progress up to 6 psi boost. I'll crank it up once I get everything dialed in perfectly.

oh and it is fun at 6psi, I can't wait for 15

Very nice, you are going to love those gears. I really liked the swap to 4.10s
