That's way to small. You need a min of a 70mm turbo, and ideally a 76mm for a 6L. The a/r is the area / radius of the housing. Basically the size of the cone in the scroll feeding the turbine. The smaller the number the smaller the cone so the faster the flow to the wheel, but more restrictive.

70mm is the smallest I would ever run on a 6.0L but 76 would be better. I have a MP70 that I run as a back up to my t76 and it spools instantly but chokes early. If you are looking for a cheap starter turbo that would be my pick. You will end up with a 76 sooner or later.

Side note. My mp70 will hit 12psi before my transmission can downshift from a roll. Makes for a lot of tire spin.

Would a T76 still be recommended for a 383? My 95 is getting a gen 1 based forged 383 stroker, working the heads over, edelbrock efi single plane intake and comp XR 268 cam. The engine should make in the mid to high 400s both in HP and torque NA. I'm going to be converting it to OBD2 using a 0411 PCM and vortec 350 truck harness. Was curious what your guys' thoughts are on something non LSx. I wouldn't mind a little lag so I'm not constantly going into boost...

Even with good heads that gen 1 small block doesn't flow like these Gen III motors do. A T76 would be a good fit for your 383 and it's good for about 650 hp or so, maybe more...

I know they don't flow like the hot dog down a hallway LSx heads do but fully ported with 2.05/1.6 valves they can still do up to 280 cfm intake and 215 cfm exhaust. I'll probably keep the compression a bit lower, about 9:1 vs an aluminum headed 9.5:1 and enjoy the hell out of turbo'd mouse motor.

Do you recommend a P trim to Q trim? Divided or undivided? I'm planning on using a shorty or mid length header on the drivers side and a log style header with a T4 flange on the passengers side. This is going to be a front mount setup. I would think on a log style header an undivided turbo would be a better fit would it not? Are you talking 650 at the wheels or crank? At the wheels I could live with but would prefer more, at the crank, well I could get that NA with better heads and a bigger cam.
