Default Wrapping the log and DP?

Do most of you guys wrap your turbo log and down pipe with header wrap? I know it helps with keeping the under hood heat down and keeps more heat in the exhaust and hot air moves faster helping the turbo spool. I guess I just haven't seen that many people wrap them so just seeing who has.

I dont really want to do the cross-over pipe because of all the **** on the roads, even tho I probably wont drive it but only on nice days. Just wanted to see what your guys thoughts were.

Sick bitches...

Yeah, my downpipe and manifold are wrapped. I didn't wrap the driver side manifold or crossover though, seemed to help some and looks better IMO.

Wrapping the crossover seemed to make the most sense to me from a performance standpoint. A cast manifold and sch 40 pipe turbo manifold don't transfer heat like tubing does. I might do the downpipe to control underhood temps eventually but I was trying to wrap as little as possible to avoid rust conditions.

I was thinking the same but I dont want my crossover to start to rot out or anything. I guess Ill go ahead and get some wrap for the log and downpipe for now.

Ben, didnt you used the smaller wrap? Easier to go around the log right?

Yeah, I ordered a roll of 1" and some 2", did the log in the small stuff, the log in the bigger stuff, then sprayed it all with the silicone spray... Still looks fine and holding up.
