Default XFI lobes for turbo cam?

Well it's time for a new setup. Gonna go all out on a 5.3 this time. My current mods are in my signature, everything will be the same except engine and cam. Scored a deal on an '04.5+ heavy rod 5.3. Getting head studs and gonna need anew cam. My stall is only a 3k, I've got 3.42 gears and a 77.6mm turbine with a 1.15 a/r housing. Basicly I'm gonna need a cam that spools quick and at low rpm but would like it to still pull at my 6500 shift points.

My current idea is to try a XFI 214/214 .600/.600 112 with 108 ICL. Any thoughts? What would you change?

I like you should put the money in the 6.0 motor in the truck. Put if you going the 5.3 route give martin at tick performance a call on a cam.

Think I'm gonna go with Stock48 and one of his Isky Cams... We love it in my brothers turbo 4.8, and now one of my buddies got one for his N/A 5.3 and it performs awesome!

I looked into the turbo cams martin@tick sells, my question is why so big? Does anyone have any proven et in a truck from these cams? Im sure they would shine on a dyno or a lightweight car but unless your spinning to 7k with a 4k stall and a brake I don't see them doing so well in a truck. Id like to hear some results from guys that have run them.

Look up denmah on LS1tech. He ran 11.9s on true street tires (2wd) with one of his cams.

Foose04 should be able to shine some light on Martin's cam. ^^^That was in a 3/4 ton truck also.
