Default Z71 LS1, Whipple, heads and cam questions?

I have a 99 Z71, I'm putting a LS1 out of a 01 Z28 I had, the LS1 has PRC Stg. 2.5 5.3 heads, a Comp 227 243 on 114 cam, stock 04 silverado intake, Bottom end is stock other than ARP Rod bolts. Also have a 2.3 whipple. with a 8 psi pulley and also a 12 psi pulley.
The LS1 made 431 rwhp N/A with Fast 90-90 and MS3 in my camaro thru a unlocked 4L60E with 4000 Stall.

Question 1. How much boost can the LS1 with the 5.3 heads take before start to lift the heads or blow a head gasket?

2. How bad will the stock truck intake hurt the hp?

3. Can I use a Meth kit with a Whipple kit? If so where would I put the nozzle?

4. Any idea how much rwhp with it being in the truck and having this gay *** intake?

Let me know good or bad what you think.

15-20lbs is usually what it takes to start pushing water without head studs

This setup sounds like its gonna make some pretty good power.

You can use the meth kit with the whipple. Which whipple kit do you have? If its the truck one I would install the meth after the blower. I think if you have the cast elbow whipple uses to add the two extra injectors that would be the best place.

The "gay *** intake" is definitely going to hurt your performance. I don't recall exactly but when I switched from using the stock intake box to a custom intake shield with an open element filter I picked up around 5-10whp. Your whipple will thank you for removing any restrictions on the blower inlet side with more power. Even the stock throttlebody is choking the intake for 10-15whp on the whipple.

Are you going to add an intercooler or just run meth to help with the IAT?

I do have the truck kit, I see where you are talking about on the cast elbow. I have a stock ported throttle body right now. the way the truck kit is I didnt think I could use a intercooler because the way the blower goes right to the intake with that little elbow.

Heres how my old setup was. You need to modify the blower outlet.

My throttle body was there also. Moving it to the stock location increase power around 15whp but makes the blower whine quiet a bit more. The outlet manifold on the blower was modified so it exits the air straight down instead of towards the engine. My setup was making 545hp with my stock 6.0l and shorty headers.

If you do decide to remove the Whipple-tronics and add-on injectors in favor of larger injectors and a real tune (very recommended), and add the meth kit to inject at the cast elbow, just make sure that beside drilling and tapping the injector bosses for fittings/plugs, that you also take care of the small bolt-holes that mounted the aux-injectors or you will have a terrible vacuum leak. All of the bolt-holes are not blind-tapped, the two on the hose clamp side are drilled all the way through.

I have a set of 42lbs injectors, I got the whipple kit from a member and he tuned my computer for the 5.3, I need to get a based tune for the LS1 setup now.
