Default 2008 f-250 5.4 supercharger/turbo available ?

a friend of mine just bought a 2008 F250 supercrew 4x4 with an 8ft bed with the POS 3v 5.4L

wondring if there is any F/I solution for this pig ?

we need at least 100-150ft/lbs more torques to get this moving with 37" tires

shows to be for an F150 but I would think it would work on an F250

Unfortunately, your friend bought the worst possible gas engine for an HD truck. I don't even like them in the F150's, let alone the gigantic SD's.

I know that there are kits out there, but I don't know of any specifically. I remember reading about SC'ed SVT Raptors after they first came out, so it's been done.

Magnacharger, whipple, procharger etc should all have kits.

the problem I cam accros when reading on the ford forums is that the plumbing is different and the handheld tuners that these kits come with doesnt work with the SD transmissions

are these trucks tunable with the HPTuner or EFI live ?

The big tuning ford software used to be SCT & Diablo

the plumbing part is easy , we can make it using the UBI airaid kit .
but the problem remains with the tuning , I dont know any body that tunes using these tunners (the SCT) and I dont think they even get you the accurate tunning that the EFI/HPT gives

has any one heard about any turbocharger for these trucks ?
