Ran with no oil after drain
I just had one of the guys at work change my oil,5.4L F150 2006
I pulled out of the shop and got out leaving it run. After a min. It sounded like a diesel then stalled. It had no oil in it at all. After adding oil it would not turn over, I jumped it and kept bumping it. 5 mins later it started all is fine.
Do you think all the valves closed from the lifters going dry?

Wow. Sounds like an obvious mis-communication somewhere in the oil change process.
It depends, if this was a "fringe benefit" at work and having your oil changed, then your screwed. If it was a documented paid oil change, then you have a case.
If it was the first example, then throw a can of prolong in there and see what happens!
