Friend has a 91 f150 with a bad engine. His cousin is giving him an engine he built for a mustang gt.
The cam in the 5.0 is an x303 from ford racing. 224/224 duration.

How hard will it be to tune for an 89? Big deal not having a stall on e4od trans?

should be fine, convert it to mass air and you'll be ok, if you leave it speed density it wont like it. why are you running an alphabet cam? the xcam isnt bad but you can get something better i'm sure

 

The engine was free from my friends cousin. X303 engine but instead of the 224/224 cam it's a 220/220 he claims.
What can we use to tune this thing? It runs pretty damn good with no tune but shifts early and everything.
