I've got headers, zzp 3.4 pulley and zzp ecm going in at some point, that gets them in the 14's out here at 5800 ft elevation.. i think the monte's are heavier? They fell slower than the regals and grand pirx's when i drive them?

Was your friend tuned for the mods? From what I understand the tuning is very important with these trucks and mods. That and the tuners are still working the bugs out (including Ford for that matter in some cases with 2011's).

That's why mine is staying BONE STOCK with the exclusion of 275/70/17's when I buy tires. I'm not a big fan of the 6speed auto, its up shifts and down shifts when can be unexpected and harsh. Sometimes even causing spillage of beer...

If you look at the first page of this thread Fastlane picked up 90+ RWHP with their tune. Not sure what driveability was like though.

Agreed, I am waiting for the real tuners to get everything worked out and then I am only going for mileage and towing tunes not power. I bought it to haul our 30' toy hauler and it does awesome. I have cars if I want to go faster .

This is the first new Ford I bought since my 03 Cobra and have to say its night and day better as far as build quality. I am (maybe was at this point) a diehard GM fan but they have been disappointing me too much lately and seem stagnant/status quo (sp?) with development.

Nice, what do you think about the sound? I have yet to hear an Ecoboost with custom exhaust I really liked, they are just so flat toned (worse than a 80's GN flat).

Do you have a sound clip of it? I'd like to hear how that made it sound. Your buddy does nice work! I'm not a fan of exhaust that exits from the side in front of the tire, but the plumbing looks great!

Its actually not loud at all and kinda has a cool sound to it, sounds much better than my regal with 3" exhaust lol, he is not sure if he like the side exit either but just tried it, it might get changed up at some point?

look him up on facebook, mofab llc, look under "other" photos and you'll see some fab work he is in the process of doing on my turbo silverado, he is one of the best fab guys in town!
