Hey now, I might get run out of my house if I buy another truck! I just bought a 2024 duramax a couple weeks ago so I’m gonna have to hold off fellas. Lol. Don’t think I haven’t built a couple on truck gmc truck builder though, the rebates on the turbo max are up to 8k.

This just gets better and better. First pass with a tune from Preaux Tuning. Conditions were terrible with 100% humidity and a decent 370’ DA. I’ll be data logging for a revision this evening.

The weather has just been too crappy lately but I'm still collecting a few parts. I'm going to replicate a buddies CAI setup by adding a Whipple air box and inlet plenum.
It will be just like this:
Octavio's old setup
This will complete the cold air intake project. The lid has a larger outlet and the filter has more surface area. It draws air from above and below the core support. The plenum is also much larger and resistant to collapsing under load.

I will finish the install off with a Cobb Tuning radiator cover that allows even more airflow than the stock design without the aforementioned flexing issues associated with the OE part. Surely this only applies to the forced induction trucks but mine could very well be one, eventually.
I've also installed an old Magnaflow muffler temporarily until I have time to build something more permanent.

Are you going to try and go stock engine and do suspension or stock suspension and work on engine?

Intake swap, datalog/test pass, test again.
Sort of having fun annoying people in my “paw paw truck” but I do need to install the suspension goodies.
Then test 😎
