It runs pretty good for a 5800lb tank. I was working a Wide Band sensor issue in the first vid so, ignore it...its way off. The second is startup of the 6L after the swap. You may see/hear one or two addtional items in the vid that help her move along.

I'm saying your buddies RC is a 6speed truck vs a QC auto.
Driver error in the RC is great compared to a push the gas to the floor QC.
Thats why the QC outran the times of your friend.Just driver error.
Other than that the RC go go a decent bit faster than that QC did in the video.

Only way to put on slicks is to grind down the calipers (bad idea) or remove the calipers completely (worse idea).

That's why SRT10 owners go to the track without slicks.

Also, the *** end is not light on the Ram SRT-10s. Weight distribution for the overall vehicle is 55/45. Can't get a whole lot better than that. The traction problems are from the high torque down low, not because of the weight.

Okay, back to Dodge bashing again, lol.
I love this guy. Yeah it would be easier to just push and go. The problem most drivers of the RC SRT-10 is that it isn't hard to miss 3rd when your placed under pressure. Most owners fix that little problem with a shifter upgrade. I have experienced that problem quite a few times, and I can tell you guys it's embarrassing. My first time was going against a WS6 Trans Am. I was pissed and for a week and went after every WS6 I could find to redeem myself. As for the traction situation I had that problem once during my first encounter with a Lightning. I basically sat and spun while he bit and took off. I was catching up pretty fast until we ran into stand still traffic. Oh well. Surely the redeeming began after that, but has ceased since I have gotten over finding out what she could do and would rather just enjoy the ride.

Ok, now I see what you mean. Yes, he had a 6 speed and he said it was hard to launch. 5K rpm and drop the clutch and he said it still bogged.
