I think it is rated at 180 for the s model, it is just quick not fast, it is a tight little car that is a blast winding it up through the curves.

My wife has a Jetta....07 ..It's a great car. I really hated the idea when see bought it. I've been really impressed at the quailty in the car. It has an inline 5 cylinder and a 6 speed trans(auto). Pretty impressive for what it is. Good luck.

I've had several VWs: '93, '97 & '02 Jettas, my brother had an '07 Jetta too.
Great solid cars, very good quality.

My ex had one and it was a pretty good car besides the headlight that kept burning out and you had to bring it to the dealer but they took care of it. I did not like the 5 foot dash it had though.

I had a passat 1.8t, blast of a car with mods! Just let it go due to not wanting to pay for timing belt or new cvs. Parts are just to much money, however vw has me sold! Lots of room for big people!

The transmissions like to go out on those. Very pricey also.
