My 340 died after a few months, but it may have been because it was pumping E85.

Interesting read here: Fore Innovations: 340LPH Fuel Pumps for $19.50...yes, really!

I have no idling issue with this pump.
Only problem I have is when it's 103+ degrees out, my truck vapor locks. But I think it's just from the turbo heating everything up under the hood. When it's cool out my truck runs flawlessly!
My cousins truck just started doing the same thing when its hot out and he is running a aero 340 too....

Does everyone with a 340 have a check valve? I was told they didn't. If they do I must have leak somewhere.

Both of mine have checkvalves. Sometimes if you pull the rubber cap off too hard it can pull the checkvalve out with it. Best thing to do is slice the cap to take it off.

Could also have a counterfeit pump, factory defect, faulty checkvalve, etc...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the correct wiring harness.

Racetronix - Fuel Pump Wiring Kit MP150/280, Walbro - Kit Configuration Page

EDIT: I emailed them and asked about the kits. I believe the difference between the link I posted, and the link in the first post, is the first link is longer for some truck applications. I'll let you guys know what I hear.
