Sigh, yes it is a walbro 480. And you don't have to butcher your bucket to install it. Sounds like he's got a real expert on his hands.

Not sure what a 480 is, but.... A 450 is basically the exact same size as the stock pump physically. More so then a 255. A 450 can be installed with no cutting or hacking and still maintain the Venturi in the bucket. I have a 450 and am adding a second and still have a functioning Venturi and plenty of room. Granted I have a -8 fees line and my filter is on the frame as it's all converted but that's irrelevant as far as the pump goes.
If adding a 450 do not run on the factory fuel pump wiring as the current draw is too high. |

You are correct. It is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
if you don't require the sensor its not going to hurt to just have it there with no connector plugged in. It should not cause any leak codes as the sensor is sealed. |
The easiest way is to look between the box and frame and see if there are 2 electrical connectors then it would be the TU432HP.
As to what tells the difference I cannot tell you that as I am not 100% positive what would determine which configurations came with and without. |
