just to make sure I understand correctly, you're running an external magnafuel pump, but used the OEM bucket just to utilize the stock sending unit?

the 3 ports should be a feed, return and vent. if you're running an external pump, just cap the feed and return, and loop a hose on the vent.

Like stated cap off the return and feed ports.

Take and add a like to the vent. Loop it around 3 times and add a filter. This will allow fumes out but no fuel incase of rollover. This is how mine is done. Havnt had any issues.
