I got it all hooked up today. Works GREAT! That Hotwire kit is way long... I had to cut out about 3-4 feet of wire, tons of excess... While it was running i tested the second pump to make sure it worked, it was idling and when the pump kicked on the fuel pressure jumped to 70! so it works...

Yeah i liked the quality of the hotwire kit so i just ordered the universal kit for the second pump. I also ordered anothe internal harness and a wether proof connector. The universal harness was only $45 i think.
I got the Y from lightningforceperformance.
I got the clamps from home depot. Goto the plumbing row and look in the PEX section and you will find them.

Corey, bringing this one back up..
I already have the racetronix truck hotwire kit but need to add a second fuel pump, and therefore second wiring harness.
I'd like to use the universal harness like you did. Which Hobbs switch did you use and how does it tie into the universal harness? The universal harness is completely separate from the main harness, meaning no PCM trigger correct?
Finally, what grommet is that where you ran the power wires for the second pump through the top of the sender assembly?
THANKS!

I also have a question. Im about to upgrade my fuel pump and was going to go with -8AN feed line, but all the regulators I've been looking at (mainly aeromotive) have a -6AN inlets/outlets. I would hate to not get the full benefit of the -8AN line because I had to reduce the size to a -6AN. Plus, the rails I plan on getting at -8AN.
What regulator did you end up going with and did you reduce to -6AN as well? Any pics of the rail and regulator set up would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help!

The grommet i used is just a rubber one from the auto parts store that fit tight around the 10g wire. Then i sealed everything up with JB weld.

Did you have to redo the "Y" and fuel lines in the bucket from the pic in the OP? I know the bucket has to compress and that doesnt look like it will compress enough to fit. I am having thag problem with mine. I have too much of a bend in the hose and its splitting the lines once it gets too much pressure
