Default fuel pressure problems

A little about the truck : 03 2500hd, 6.0 tvs1900, deautchwerks 60 psi injectors, aeromotive regulator, return style, walbro 450, 90mm ls2 throttle body, stainless works headers, camotion cam. btr valve train, od balancer, 8 rib iw.

The fuel pressure base i set at 58 like stock with the vacuum unplugged. When vac is plugged in i see 52-54. Now at 10 psi i only see like 62-64. Every once in a while i will see 45-48 at idle which is strange. I thought with the regulator it was 1:1 but i don't see higher 60s at 10 psi. It doesn't go lean tho since it stays in the low 12s and high 11s on my wideband. Any thoughts, sound ok or am i over looking this....?

What gauge are you using to monitor it? Stock fuel filter?

To replace the filter if that's it what micron is the best..? I did see fuel lab has a 10 micron with a 200 and a 200ghp rating.

I was thinking of using this filter and these fittings to plumb a new filter in. The m16x1.5 female o ring will connect to the stock fittings and then the 8an to the filter, one at each end.

EDIT>>>> i decided not to do it this way and am going to cut the stock filter flared ends off and reflare it with 6an nuts and run a slighter longer aeromotive filter. This way it has less connections and looks clean. The filter is 1.5 longer than the stock one, that should get me where i need to reflare the new ends on. Should work perfect since 6an is for 3/8 tube.

I wish I could help. I don't know how many guys use the stock filter on a return style system.

If you are going through all that work, just run a custom stainless braided line and put the filter where you want it.

If re flaring the stock line doesn't work then i will run a new fuel line. The stock line is in good shape and 3/8 already which is perfect to run a 6an filter.

Can the pressure be effected by the how the injectors are scaled in the tune..?
or
The sock on the 450 limit the amount of pressure..?

The part that gets me is the wideband shows high 11s to mid 12s under boost, that's before meth. Will the meth make it richer to where the afr is ok under
boost.

Tuning wont affect the injectors, but if there is a big voltage drop to the pump or a restriction or undersized feed line then that will cause a drop in pressure.

Meth will richen it up, but a walbro 450 should be able to handle a 1900 no sweat.

I have no problems with the afr tho but the fuel pressure never goes higher than 62. My base is 58, it goes right up to that as soon as it gets out of vac and before boost so pressures limited somewhere. I have the racetronix harness on the pump, so hopefully that's fine. To mention the 450 tho maybe the sock is pinched making it not flow enough. Id imagne it would have to be really pinched hard or crushed flat. I guess if the new filter doesn't help I'll need to check out the pump. I really appreciate the help.
