Default Which fuel pressure regulator?

Hey guys! I need to finally get my fuel system where it should be. My truck came stock with a return system and when I put the LS3 intake on, I've been running the stock returnless fuel rail. So needless to say, I need to get some new rails.

I've been looking at the black Holley EFI rails. They are the only black rails I can find. Anyways, the system should run: tank>pump>line>injectors>fpr>return line. What fuel regulator are you guy running or would recommend for this set up? Thanks

I picked up a fuel lab FPR. Seems they make a very nice piece. There is more then 1 way you can run it, but consensus is tank to the rails, out of the rails to the Fpr then return to tank. Also some people run a y to each each fuel rail, but it can also feed into one then cross over( F bodys, vettes cam factory that way

Those do look pretty nice. Do I block the outlet port so all the fuel runs out of the return?

i got a SX regulator. havent used it, still working on the motor, it looks nice. you put the regulator inline.... why would you want to block the outlet?

Because if the regulator is after the rails, there is no reason for an outlet. The rails would have already been feed, so at that point, I would just be returning fuel to the tank.

From what I've read, everything says it's best to place the regulator after the rails in a return system. But I haven't seen anyone show how they plumbed it. So I'm not sure..
