Default fuel pump and injectors for 06 turbo

I have looked through alot of threads and still am not sure what in tank fuel pump I need and what brand injectors to buy. My truck is a 2006 5.3 l59 motor which is the flex fuel. Im am putting a cam and turbo on the truck now. Is there any direct fit injectors 60lb for the truck harness? Also what walbro would I need? Thanks

Do you currently, or will you run flex fuel? How much boost are you going to run? What are your target HP numbers?

Depending on your goals a single 255 could work. If it wont you will have to get a little creative running dual pumps. Larger than that and it will overpower your stock in tank fuel pressure regulator at idle and low RPM.

Injectors like this should be plenty, and honestly are overkill for most... but I'm sure someone else will chime in. I'm not totally sure that they are the correct fit for you. I swapped to the newer EV6/USCAR injector connection. You could also call this guy, he's really helpful. I went with 83# injectors for my build, but I plan to have them for a while and I hope they will be all I ever need as I grow.

Its possible I may goto e85 in the future. Gonna run 6 or 7 pounds of boost. 450 to 500hp is my goal. Would like room to grow for a built motor when this one goes.

You can't go any bigger than a 255 without overpowering your stock in tank fuel pressure regulator. I'm not sure the walbro 255 is all that much more powerful than your stock fuel system.

I really dont know a lot of the specifics about the fuel systems and how they change with flex fuel vs. non flex fuel. For modest power on regular fuel your pump will probably be fine.

The 60# injectors will be fine at that power level too.

What are some people getting hp wise out of there stock fuel pumps. I wonder if the fuel pump in my truck is the same as ones without flex fuel?

I'm doing a very similar build, I have an '06 Sierra ccsb with the l59. I have a bw s480 I'm gonna run. I'm looking to get a little more, while I'd like to run 15psi, I'm just not sure on the stock internals, so will probably end up around 10-12psi. Need to get my fuel system figured out as well.

Flex fuel pumps can last up to about 425hp or about 500 with a BAP. I don't see any reason not to upgrade to a Walbro 450 e85 approved model. I always say when it comes to fuel go twice as big as you think you will need, because you will eventually want to turn up the boost. Upgraded wiring and regulator maybe needed, but it's worth it.

I'm goin dual walbro 450's in the tank and running an external fuel pressure regulator, that should solve it all.
