Fuel pump and injectors for e85
Hey guys I have a couple question. Been reading in search and can't really find an exact answer. So I'll start off with saying my set up. It's a 408 with ls3 head vic Jr intake pt 88 turbo and some nitrous making a little over 1khp. My system is a fuel cell return style with an aeromotive eliminator inline pump says good for 1200hp FI. -10 I believe to the aeromotive competition regulator good for like 2200hp split to I believe -8 lines to the rails running fic 80lb injectors. I'm running 93oct with 100%meth. Well I'm going to convert to e85 and trying to figure out what pump or pumps to go with along with injectors. I know neither are going to support my goal of 1200hp. Also my static compression is around 9:1 how would it perform on e85 knowing it likes higher compression but I will be running around 20-25psi with 100-200 shot. I will be buying my the barrel so I know its true e85 all year long. This isn't a street truck so I'm not worried about mileage availability tuning etc. Thanks for the comments guys

So with E85, to make ~1300rwhp you will need around 800L/hr total. You are going to want at least a 160lb/hr injector (good for about 1250rwhp on e85 @60psi rail pressure) and probably 2 of the pumps you have now to be honest.
If you have base pressure at 50psi, and have 180lb/hr injectors they will be good for about 1250rwhp. Your pump looks to flow about 500L/hr at 75psi pump pressure (25psi of boost), so with 2 you should be all set. Unless you go to mechanical pump you are going to need 2 of just about any pump.
That compression will be fine with e85 considering the amount of boost and nitrous you are going to throw at it.

I have a belt drive fuel pump
i target 1400-1600
base fuel is 45
i chose the belt drive cause of cost and electrical draw, to crack 1200 on E85 youre going to need dual pumps, most run dual 750s
youre eliminator wont get ya where you need on E85, also have to consider where your pump is erratic at for pressure...Alot of pumps dont like to be past 75 total pressure and if you have a base of 60 and top off with 25 psi youre at 85 and can be unstable for periods of time like a 1320 pass
now i have made close to 1100 rwhp on E85 using 160 lb injectors and a magnafuel 625 pump which is the gear driven style, this is not to be confused like the Inline pumps like a 750....ran a base of 44 and was at 98% duty cycle at 27 psi on this setup with commanding AFR of 11.5
also you may want to look into another turbo if you are referring to pt88 on that 400 cube motor, when using e85 take full advantage of the exhaust energy...you can get away with a much larger turbine, which at this point you wont need n20 what so ever

Yea I took that chart and converted it to volumetric flow to use in my spreadsheet in the sticky thread in this section, which is where I got all my numbers. Its odd because most fuel pumps are rated in volume not mass, but its not a huge deal.
Yea you would run them in parallel, and if it were me I would hard wire one pump on, and have the controller mess with the second pump only.
A lot of injectors (and pumps) don't like being above a certain pressure (80psi is a popular limit). So if you can get away with a low rail pressure, like 40-50psi, then do that so you can stretch your fuel components to more boost.
I agree on using a better turbo for that...I wanted to try a GT5518 at one point, would be a pretty good match for what you are wanting I think.
