Yea you would run them in parallel, and if it were me I would hard wire one pump on, and have the controller mess with the second pump only.

A lot of injectors (and pumps) don't like being above a certain pressure (80psi is a popular limit). So if you can get away with a low rail pressure, like 40-50psi, then do that so you can stretch your fuel components to more boost.

I agree on using a better turbo for that...I wanted to try a GT5518 at one point, would be a pretty good match for what you are wanting I think.
Crazy to think I've built a couple 1khp trucks now and did all the work my self except fuel system and learning it and haven't messed with e85 but had a few bad experiences with methanol so ready to get away from it. I haven't decided on a turbo yet just had that t4 log and turbo and threw it on. It ran good made a little shy of 1khp on 14psi and 60 shot had problems with my boost controller and meth system on dyno so idk what it was cabable of. Then I broke a kifter and tore it apart and now going back together with a fee more CI, bigger turbo. I want around 1200hp but also I would like the fuel system to be good to around 1500 hp for growing room

Youll have to decide is it time for low impedence or pay huge money for ID2000s

If you have holley then the low impedence is a no brainer

At that point you have
Billet atomizers
Holley injectors
Siemens
Bosch

My 225s were far cheaper then ID2000s even with me buying a driver

Probably, as long as one of the pumps is controlled to only come on when you need it.

The GT5518 is a huge turbo for a 408, you will be quite fine with a 1.0 to 1.24 housing unless you plan to spin it to 8000rpm. I think using a 1.4 housing will just make it laggier than you need. I would personally start with the 1.0 housing.
