another question is how much boost with a 4 bolt head hold with an ls9 head gasket with the mains drilled to 1/2in studs. the boost advisor said with e85 it would take about 26-30 psi to get to my goal of 1200hp. new to e85 but of 93 and meth i hit almost 1000hp on 14psi and a 50 shot

I have a gauge for that

The heads lifting is a direct result of the cylinder pressure, regardless of fuel and boost. Power is basically the integral of cylinder pressure of the pistons motion in the power stroke. E85 tends to have less peak pressure than gasoline, so you could probably get away with a little more power. In general, around 1200fhp 4bolt heads seem to lift. Larger studs will probably help a little, but you will have to get fancy (Read: spend a lot of money) to push beyond that. 6 bolt heads and block can hold more power and would probably be cheaper in the long run if you want 1100+rwhp

a 4" stroke is more likely to lift a head then a stock stroke motor, the stock stroke gets away with it be delaying peak cylinder pressure to higher in the rpms
