Some people like clean installations using factory wiring, others like to use romex and zip tie to a bundle that already contains the correct wire(s) to make a clean factory looking install.
The 7 pin trailer wiring does contain an aux that can use used, autozone has great wiring diagrams for the price of on the house. I think it's 10 or 12ga on my 03 with trailer tow package.
You could even re-pin your existing FP relay in the fusebox to use the larger wire from the trailer AUX, making for a very clean installation. You can buy the individual micropack pins, the crimper is pretty expensive. If your only doing a couple just crimp with pliers and finish solder them.
