Fuel Tank Swap
#2
Ok, let me ask another question.
Could I have the tank cut open, install a few baffles and re-weld (plastic weld) the tank together? Would that keep the fuel from running to the back of the tank and starving the motor on launch? Of course I would upgrade the Pump to a Walbro, 255 or 400.

Installing a fuel cell in the back means I cant use the factory fill door. It also means cutting into the truck bed for a new fill door. Can't put gas in it either when I got a load of gravel or wood or car parts thru the door in the bed.
What do I do with the spare tire back there? For me and my application, a rear mounted tank is out of the question.
I need to find a place that does plastic tank welding in the Dallas / Ft.Worth area or somewhere in Texas.
Thanks for the input though!
