Anyway, searching sho me speed's website turned up no info on this hose that you speak of, slowec. Where can I find it?

I have done a little reading about this, and it looks like the best stuff is from Racetronix.
Racetronix - Fuel Feed - Tubes - Plastic
Lonnies Performance is an LS1Tech sponsor that sells it.

Sorry for the confusion. The sho me speed hose comes in a dual fuel pump package under the fuel pump heading on the web site. Called him directly and he said he had some complaints with gates hose and now he uses a different local brand that works good. It is nice to talk to people that are "in the game" and make ya feel like they are testing and improving their products.

The pics of the kits using plastic tube make it look like they are on the fittings with no clamps, and it seems like that is how my OEM setup was. Does Racetronix or Lonnies offer any instructions about clamping or maybe stretching the plastic tube over a fitting?

Take that back, I dont know what clamps you using but the ones that I am referring to are a one time use and they squeeze from 360 degree rather then putting most of the pressure on a 90 degree area like a standard hose clamp.
