TBI pump should work for your carb. Whats the problem you're having?

I took the pump off of the housing and put a piece of instrument air line in its place for a pick up tube with a sock filter on the end and put it back in the tank, then ran my fuel line to a mechanical pump on the engine and plugged off the return line.haven't cranked it yet but pretty sure it will work.
