Btw, the guy on eBay selling these told me he's been a walbro distributor for 15 years as I inquired about the authenticity of these pumps. I haven't heard of any fake 400/450s yet.

Tim at what point did the stock system start to run out of breath? I know this is something that needs to be done, but I'm hoping I can avoid it at first.

Will this up fuel pressure, or just keep it constant when you really demand it?

I remembered seeing a video of your fuel pressure with the 340.

Now that you have the 8 rib and a spinning the blower faster you differently need more fuel.

Did you just cut the bottom of the bucket for the 340 install? What does the 450 sock look like and how much cutting if any is necessary to make it fit?

I heard this pump is recommend for upgrade fuel line and fuel pressure regulator. I seen something it will overflow stock regulator is that true?

I had read that the 400 alone would overpower the stock fuel system.

Thats for the f body system. Ive read the 400 works just fine with the truck external regulator. Ill find out soon enough.

I'm in to see what happens because i would like to have a pump that can keep up when I pull fuel off the rail for nitrous.

Dosent the rating change from a n/a motor to forced induction. I've had my truck for about a month know and not been able to get on it because the 255 wasn't sufficient for 6 lbs of boost. Looking at Lonnie's twin setup but this would much cheaper.
