Racetronix hot wire kit the way to go?

Most trucks w/towing package have a fused 8-10 ga. wire running from the fuse box to the trailer plug. All you have to do is tap into that right by the tank to power the relay. All you have to do is buy ~2' of wire, a relay, and a fuse to put in the fuse box where the wire connects.

Anything these days can be done less expensive and self made, it's all in what you want and what type of resources are available to you.
I myself have the RT Hotwire kit, it was a very well made , put together kit and works great . So I'm happy,

Inflation is a bitch eh. The ease of installing the wiring kit was second to none. Completely plug n play, and like others have said, a real quality harness. I'm just not a big electrical guy, so I went this route.
