Default stock injectors and fuel pump..will they be enough??

i have the truck in my sig..with all the upgrades in my sig..will the stock injectors and fuel pump keep up??

I would think you will need bigger injectors. The marine 8.1L injectors will work. Their rated at 42#

the stock fuel pump ok? will it keep enough pressure up to 6k rpm range with those injectors? im just not wanting it to die off after 4500 or so..

Considering its a 5.3 I think you will be fine with the stockers.

Dont mean to thread jack but I have been looking with the search button about the stock fuel pump as well. I put injectors from a 5.3 on a 6.0 with a 226/236 .525/.525 110lsa. Will the stock pump be ok with 39# injectors that I plan to upgrade to when I put the new intake on?

thats good to hear. i was kinda hoping i could run them just for this summer and do big work over the winter.

my 212/218 low lift cam had my stockers at 94%dc

Why not just order a set of 8.1 truck injectors. You can find a set for 100 bucks on ebay. They are listed at 30lb/hr, but that is at 3 bar or 43.5psi. Our truck have a 4 bar or 58psi fuel rails. This means that the 8.1 truck injector will actually be 36lb/hr. This is the route that I am going with my LQ4.

Pick up some regular 8.1s they are cheap and will do great..thats what i did
