Default Walbro 255 install help!

well last weekend i had started this project, i couldn't reuse the factory hose that goes to the pump, i could not get it to fit. i have some 3/8 fuel hose that i could use. the pump looks like a 5/16??? and where it pumps too is 3/8's? any idea of what i can do? maybe force a 5/16 hose on there and hose clamp it or clamp it with the 3/8's?? also i need a new pig tail anyone know of a part number? and I'm sure its gotta be for fuel use. And i also broke the little hole out where there is a black rubber piece at the bottom, only use i can thank of that is, is that it separates water? i should be okay without that right?

use a 5/16 submersible fuel line, you need to cut a whole in the bottom of the bucket, roughly 1'' in diameter will do, put the sock on the end, drill some holes in the side of the bucket and zip tie it to keep from moving.

you can get a new pig tail from Lingenfelter for $5.00.
