Does this qualify as road racing? I don't see any safety cage?

 

Can anybody find any pics of the Gale Banks Duramax diesel road racing truck? Thats the first thing that came to mind when i saw this. I'll try to find some pics. it sparked an interest in me.

Nothing is rubbing. What you are hearing are the SBC race brake pads under heavy braking.
