Probably not... Is the converter you picking the 9.5 inch or the larger restalled TB converter? You need a 9.5 3400-3600+... The a truck is with a 4.8 is completely different reacting than an Fbody with a LS1.... That is like comparing apples and donkeys... Mods in my sig got me to a 13.2.... Which i would like someone to post up faster times with a 4.8...

This is my exact setup except for mine is an 04 and i have a 5.3w/a built trans. Best run so far is a 14.42 (in 60 degree weather)

Read the OTHER thread and didn't realize you mean with a 4.8.
Bigger stall and a cam.

Surprised that nobody has recommended that you swap in a 6.0 yet...that's usually the first suggestion for anybody with a 4.8 lol

Unfortunately it's going to take more than bolt ons...gears, the converter that Corey mentioned, and a decent cam will get you there

Don't get your hopes too high. I have cam, LTs, TB converter, 3:73s, and I only manage mid 14s. Every truck responds differently though, so may you can whip out low 14s.
