That sounds high to me, even for a 4x4. I'm having mine done the week after next for $400 labor with me supplying all parts and fluid. Maybe I'm just getting a heck of a deal.

Im gonna call a couple more shops. I wouldnt have had that guy do it anyways even if it was cheap. I said I needed a price for install on a corvette servo and a TC on my truck and he was like "a servo?". ya. Then he tried telling me it was gonna take 3 hrs shop time because they had to remove the valve body and stuff. I was like no you dont.

haha I just called another shop and he quoted me $439

If he doesn't know what a servo is I don't think I would let him touch my truck

$439 sounds about right to me.

The guy that's doing mine is a friend of a friend kind of thing. I think he cut's me a little slack. I didn't mention it in the first post be he is also going to put in a Transgo HD2 shift kit, along with the servos and TC for $400. He's also the same guy that regeared my truck for $500 labor.

You must have a 2wd. The rest of the prices were for 4x4's, a lot more trouble to do.

Yes, that all you need. You don't have to drop the pan to install a vette servo, it is on the side of the trans with a cover that is held in with a snap ring.
