03 1500 HD Driveshafts Dyno Safe?

Default 03 1500 HD Driveshafts Dyno Safe?

I saw somewhere that people have had drivelines come apart while on the dyno.I have an 03 1500 HD with the 2 pc./carrier bearing set up.Am I safe to dyno?

2 piece is safer at higher speeds than the 1 piece.

Still, to err on the side of caution, it's recommended to dyno in 2nd gear, instead of 3rd. Many of these drivelines seem to reach their critical speed between 110-135 mph.
