my 03 crew cab I think it's beyond fixing thanks to Sandy now that I want to know is can I take a drivetrain 6 liter and 4l 80 E and put it in my 2000 Silverado which had a 4.8 4l60 I would use the wiring harness drive by wire pedal everything can it be done?

Sure it can be done, wont be easy but since you have a donor vehicle you can do it.

Yup, pretty much all of it because of the difference between a 2000 and 2003. It would be much easier to modify the Tahoe as is to run the 6L and 4L80E.

Take your 6.0l and swap into the 2000. Run the 2000 intake and TB.

Its not worth the BS switching into DBW, when DBC works fantastic and already there. If you want a Bigger TB there are lots of options out there from nick williams, bbk, fast, oem etc. If you want a better flowing intake manifold go with a TBSS setup.

Few mods will need to be done to get the 80e to fit in, but all that info is on here and not hard to do

was trying to do this only investing my time besides getting the driveshaft shortened both trucks are down right now , the 4l60 is wasted in the 2000 was hoping to get one from our yard but we only 60's behind 4.3 and never got an answer if i could just switch Bellhousing and throw it in that would the quickest and easiest .
