Default 03 Avalanche Z71 transmission

'just turned 50,000 miles and changed the trans fluid and filter per routine maintenance. Deep Pan transmission. Now the trans is slipping badly. The engine rev's and slowly engages in 1st gear slips and slides into second and eventually gets to overdrive at highway speeds. No engine light. Any ideas?

Maybe the filter fell out of the tranny sump. Pull the pan and check............that and make sure you have enough fluid in it now. Check it when hot, engine running......

thanks, did that....KISS method. The trans pump was bad at 50,150 apparently it appeared when the fluid and filter were changed.
