First, I did slotted/drilled rotors. The brakes never fade. They used to fade bad with the stock rotors bad, and I would warp them at least once a year.
Second, I did the Russels braided stainless lines. The spongyness of the pedal went away completely.
Third, I did the hydroboost. I think these trucks should come with this stock. It was amazing to me how much better the brakes are. Stock I could not lock up the brakes, or even make the abs kick in unless it was wet or snowing. Now with my 295 tires I think my truck stops in a little more than half the distance it used to when I bought it.
