a buddy of mine was driving normal for a change and he was cruising at about 60mph and the truck just quit pulling. he pulls over and puts it in park and checks fluid and it is ok. puts it in reverse it pulls a little then goes to drive and nothing in any forward gears. had it towed home and it wouldnt roll off the wrecker. they pulled it off the wrecker and it will roll forward but not backwards. what is the deal? anyone run into this?

I had a simaler problem with my truck. It was my tranny. The gear where all f to ****.

sounds like what happened to my moms. the planetry blew up. ill get a pic of it tomrrow

that is what i was afraid of. he just bought this truck a few weeks ago and when he got it home, and in some light, he noticed it had a new trans pan gasket. gues it is new trans time!!!
