Default 07 Nbs Sbrc 4/6 Djm Drop +

I lowered by 07 silverado with DJM's 4/6 drop. My question is, I used the flip kit in the rear but I want to lower another inch or two. It looks like I need a shorter shackle to lower it instead of a longer one, I suppose it's because of the flip kit. So any way does anybody know of someone that makes a raised shackle 1" or 2" prefirably?

Well it's seems like the action has been reversed if i put a lowering shackle (longer) it's going to push the leaf spring down, away from the frame, there for raising the back end. A shorter shackle (raising) will pull the leaf spring up toward the frame lowering the back end. Chime in anyone correct me if i'm wrong...

You are wrong. Listen to the man. A lowering shackle no matter how your leaf springs are setup is going to pull your suspension higher up into your frame. That in turn is going to lower your truck. A taller shackle is going to lower it while a lift shackle will raise it. As your axle goes up, the lowered affect increases

I think I understand what he is saying. The 07s come with this bracket to reverse the shackle mount. Am I seeing that right? Wouldn't he need a lift shackle?

That pic is not the same as my nnbs 07, the spring hangs from the top bolt same as always, therefore a longer shackle lower the body to the axle.
did on mine anyway...

Did I install it wrong then? Cause that's djm's kit for the 07 nbs. Or did you not install the rear shackle mounts? You didn't do the flip kit, did you?

If all you did in the rear is a flipkit, then you need a taller shackle.
