that sounds like they didn't balance it properly for it to let go at 100mph.

mine let go at about 120mph on the expressway running a 5th gen. It sounded like a bomb went off and too the muffler with it. I orderd a drivshaft from Xessive Motorsport who gets them built by Driveshafts Unlimited in San Antonio. Driveshaft looks awsome and well built. Ive been past 120mph and has held up fine.

Are these drive shafts steel or alum? I have a stock steel 1 piece and have been to 125 dozens of times with no problems.

Edit- nevermind it was a steel that blew.... "freshly balanced 1 piece steel shaft with a brand new GM yoke and u-joins let go over the weekend"

Looks like I took some muffler damage also, but over all very lucky.
