I have seen 10 bolts work, but I dont think they will last over time, especially in heavy applications. I went through 2 10 bolts and said forget it the second time. One time I broke the gears inside the Eaton. The second time I cracked the case. I had a girdle on the second failure.

From what I have read, failures result from the housing flexing under load.
