The only thing I notices is how crappy the G80 is. It will not stay locked past 40mph. I have a bad feeling I am going to grenade this thing. (G80)

Driving feels the same, but I know there is a consiberable difference in weight between the 2. The 14 bolt is way beefier! As soon as I get a good LSD in there, I think I will be ready to spray it out of the hole. lol Of course with full slicks and traction bars. I am going to catch your 5.3!!!!

Looks good J... Glad to hear the conversion went smooth. How much heavier is the 14 bolt compared to the 10 bolt?

Good **** Jason. Welcome to the 14 bolt club. I've had mine on for 40K miles now with no problems. Mine came with 4.10s that I reused and also threw in a LSD while it was apart.

I could take some pictures later on tonight. I believe the rear end has to be 2005-2006 VHO/SS rear end in order for the brakes to bolt in. The older 14 bolt 9.5" requires spacers and is a little more involved.

The 14 bolt is much heavier.. I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of 75-100 pounds more.

Not necessarily, there were 2 older Semi's with 6 lugs one in the z71 is the correct width the 2wd isn't
