Your welcome. Other 14 bolts will work, but modification is required. I believe OBS Z71 6 lug rear ends will work. The spring perches will have to be relocated and a spacer made to use the disk brakes. I believe AxisT6 has done a swap and a pretty good write up.

Thanks again. That's surprising... in that one would think that there would be more direct match-up's coming from the trucks made around the years of mine... like 99 to 02's and it's odd that the real matches were made from 05-07. A classic example of truth being stranger than fiction 
The new 80e will be here late next week, then probably a week to do the install and I'll then begin the search for a new rear and hopefully get it before I break another "weak link"
Of course this means I've reached the back of the truck and have to go back to the front and start makeing more changes up there. Like a BIGGER engine with MORE BOOST and , and , and , and ad infinitum. Gotta have 1k hp/torque. It is so dammed much fun.

i'm a bit confused the op said the rear disc were a little tilted?... so is it a direct swap to take the drums off and put the disc on or doe's it just kinda work?.. i would'nt want nothing shady?.. also if i wanted to keep the drums off the 05-07 14 rear, would they work on a 04 down disc truck or will they only work on a 05 up?... thanks guys.
