Default 16 inch wheels on 05 and up trucks

I can fit a 16 on the back over the drum but i can not fit a 16 inch wheel on the front, i was wondering if anyone had ever ground down thier brakes to fit a 16, im about ready to order wheels but i want to be sure i can "make them fit"

You have to grind some off...the amount depends on wheel design.

the back is not the problem, im worried about the fronts, i want 16's up front too! hell i would do 15's on all four corners if i had any faith that they would fit on the front.

As he said. You'll have to grind. I know on 99-04 you can grind enough for 15"s but dunno about 05+

The 05's have bigger front brakes...alot had to be ground off for a 15...i dont think i would recommend it.

I ground allot trying to make a factory 16 fit the front of my 06 and got to a point that I was no longer comfortable removing any more material... Still didn't fit so I replaced the Caliper. Keep looking around, I saw a thread just the other day that had somone else that was successful with 16" bogarts I think it was... but I wouldn't run them.

My new track setup will be 15x10 out back 17x7 up front

well im going to have the wheels narrowed up and possibly run a spacer to reduce the amount of grinding needed, hopefully

I was wrong, Blown06 fit 15x4.75 Bogarts w/ 2.25" bs. Took a shitload off even with the low bs.

It looks to be about the same amount I had to take off on the outer edge and also had to remove some on the inner side due to the backspacing.
