Default 16s on the front of my 05

Well im done with the "big wheels" and im gonna run the draglite lookalikes im running a 15 in the rear, and its time to order my fronts, the rim style i have is only available in 15's and 16's, well of the two, 16 is the obvious, but will they clear even with grinding the caliper? and if not, would a......lets say 01-02 rotor and caliper bolt on my truck so i could run a 16? thanks

If you have the same rotors as my 08, then no they do not fit...

here's the test fit of a 16" rim

This is how much meat that would have to come off... You do it and let me know if it holds up, lol

Anyone got an old set of calipers that'll fit my truck laying around after a big brake upgrade? Can be useable or not, doesn't matter to me. If so, let me know, I'll pop their cherry and see how much meat is left after I clearance them to fit.

Lance, that looks like about how much material would have to come off to fit my wheels. Makes me feel a little bit better about doing it. You guys might not be able to make fun of my tiny rear wheels anymore.... well maybe you will just make fun of all four now, haha.

I had the same problem on my '00

and I was hoping someone would post up a pic like that. I read a thread awhile ago I think it was for that yellow caged tubbed and TT'd truck. He ground off a **** load with no problems

DO IT!
