Default 17s on a 4/6, do i need smaller tires?

my setup now is 2" shackles on otherwise stock suspension. i have escalade 17s w/ 275/60/R17s up front and 285/60/R17s out back. will these fit for the time being on a 4/6. i actually plan on adding a hotchkis TVS and belltech 2" drop spindles up front to equal a 4/6 if that makes a difference. i know these are some really big tires for a 4/6 but i plan on 20s and low-pros later.

anyways, will they fit?

You should be fine; it will rub in the front on hard bumps though.

keep a bump stop in there and you'll be perfect. Im running a 4/5 on 255/50 on the front and 275/50s on the rear. Hopefully some time the next couple weeks the truck will get 235/60s front and 285/60s rear. Post some pics of your tire heights and widths please, I wanna make sure its not gonna look too tall on my truck

are you keeping the soft 8's? Im pretty sure you will hit the rear fender with a tire that size

I am, I dont believe so since Im not going any lower in the rear

in all honesty I hit frame before I come close to hitting fender
however with the correct offset (Im assuming his is) he'll be fine

yep he should be fine, but you will be 3/4 of an inch from your fender with that tire size
