stock wheels have PERFECT offset to tuck tire when dropped.

00silv4.8, did you want pics of it now at stock height, or when it gets lowered?

nightrunner, you will be close with 275/60 up front, i would look for something narrower.
here is my 3" drop with 275/60 on stocks

out back you might need to roll the fenders here is a 275/60 on 4" drop out back

i plan on a 255/35/R20 up front and the new 305/35R20 drag radials out back when i get my 20s but i may be a little while since i cant find any 20s available in a 8.5 up front and a 9.5-10 width in rear that are kinda inexpensive. looks like i have to save up for some boyds or iforged.

guess i need to get smaller tires before the drop

You will be fine, just take it easy over bumps. I am running my stockers up front with a 255/70/16 and have no issues. Those come out to a 30.1" diameter compared to your 30.2"

And when you go to 20s, I would run a 245/40/20 or a 255/40/20 up front. Sidewall will be close to the 305/35/20s out back. A 255/35/20 is really small.

i was pretty sure the height wasnt the problem by itself, but the combination of the height and width.

iwould much rather go with a 255/40/R20 or evena 255/45/R20 but i want my tires to semi match. and the closest to matching the nitto nt-555r rear tires are the nitto nt-555s and the closest size is a 255/35/R20.

have you seen scream's new setup? that is what he is runnin and it looks AWESOME imo.

Understand, I'm picky like that as well. Bought my wheels/tires used and couldn't afford the Michelin Pilots that were on them, so when I had to replace 2, I went with the Hankook k104 which is real close if not the same. Well, the pattern anyways, definitely not the performance lol.

The 555 does come in a 245/40/20, 255/45/20, and a 275/35/20 for that matter. The 245/40 and the 275/35 are the same overall height, well real close. The 255/45 would be taller than the rear and I don't think that would look right.

No, haven't seen his new setup. Knew he was considering the 555r in the back, but never saw it. If thats the look you like though, don't let me stop you.

Oh, and don't think the width will be a problem either. I don't come close to touching width wise. Its only 20mm wider, 10mm on each side.

thanks for the heads up, ill probably go with the 275/35, because i remember you used to run that on the fronts w/ a 4/6. i liked his setup but wished i could get more width up front, i hate skinny tires.
